Is ceoltóir flúite agus consaitrtín í Nicole Ní Dhubhshlaine ón nGráig i gCorca Dhuibhne. Tá an domhan siúlta aici lena cuid ceoil go Boston, Vietnam, Moscow agus leithead na hÉireann gan dabht. Is minic a bhíonn sí ar chláracha teilifíse agus raidió, an Cork Folk Festival 2020 an clár ba dhéanaí lena raibh páirt aici ann. Bronnadh céim ar Nicole ó Choláiste na hOllscoile Corcaigh le céim sa cheol agus sa Ghaeilge. Bronnadh gradam chuimhneacháin Sheáin Ó Riada uirthi chomh maith le scoláireacht Quercus Creative and Performing Arts. D'eisigh Nicole a chéad albam i 2019 in aonacht le Kyle Macaulay dár teideal 'Barra Taoide'. Tá sí i mbun staidéir faoi láthair le Coláiste Hibernia le bheith ina múinteoir bunscoile.

Nicole Ní Dhubhshlaine is a flute and concertina player and teacher from An Ghráig in Corca Dhuibhne. She has travelled extensively to perform in locations such as Boston, Vietnam and Moscow as well as countless performances in Ireland. Nicole is a regular contributor to TV and radio programmes most recently appearing on TG4’s Cork Folk Festival 2020. Nicole graduated from UCC with first-class honours in both BA Music/Irish and BMusic degrees and was awarded the Seán Ó Riada Memorial Award and Quercus Creative and Performing Arts Scholarship. Nicole released her debut album in 2019 “Barra Taoide” alongside Kyle Macaulay and is currently training to become a primary school teacher in Hibernia College. 

Although this class is now full, we are operating a wait list system should you wish to put your name on the list.


Please Note

Pupils must have their own instruments.
Classes are for adults and children age 9+.
Most classes will be taught ‘as Gaeilge’ (through Irish) while all efforts will be made to make sure that no one feels excluded.
The emphasis will be on West Kerry tunes and style.
Recording during classes is prohibited.
If you have symptoms of Covid19 please don't attend classes.
NB There are no classes for absolute beginners.

Is ceoltóir agus damhsóir í Caitlín Nic Gabhann a bhfuil trí bhonn uile Éirinn aici ar an gconsairtín. Tógadh í i gContae na Mí áit ina raibh sí tumtha sa cheol ó aos óg. Bhí tionchar mór ag a hathair uirthi, ceolttóir agus múinteoir iomráiteach. Tá steip déanta aici ar fud an domhan mhór ag rince i dteannta Riverdance. d'Eisigh sí CD aonar sa bhliain 2012. Is minic a bhíonn sí le clois ag seinm i dteannta Chiarán Ó Maonaigh agus bíonn sí ag múineadh ag cruinnithe ceoil ar fud an domhain.

Beidh ticéid ar fáil le spás a chur in áirithint ón 1ú Feabhra.

Tá an rang seo díolta amach ach is féidir d'ainm a chur ar an liosta feithimh.

Caitlín Nic Gabhann is three time All-Ireland champion on concertina and also an accomplished dancer. She was raised in a house full of music in Ashbourne, Co. Meath where she was greatly influenced by her Father, a noted fiddle player and teacher. She has toured the world with Riverdance as a dancer and she released a solo CD in 2012, ‘Caitlín’. She has played on stages all over the world and has many collaborations with Ciarán Ó Maonaigh, and also The High Seas, Birkin Tree and The Irish Concertina Ensemble. She teaches at many festivals all over the world .

This class is now sold out but you can add your name to the waiting list should a space arise.

Molann muid do dhaoine gléas taifeadadh a thabhairt leo.
